The Cherokee County Animal Shelter, Canton, Georgia, had a very successful adoption event this past Saturday, December 6th. All dogs were adopted! Santa and all his helpers were there! There was a big turnout for breakfast with and photos with Santa. The staff and volunteers worked tirelessly. I am the dog pictured with Santa on the shelter’s announcement. Such an honor to be chosen. I know first-hand what a great shelter this is-I found my furever home there! Merry Christmas to all the rescued and adopted dogs and cats!
Tuck the Law Dog
Hi Dear Friends. I am now on Twitter as well, and would love to see y’all there @TuckTheLawDog. I am also on Facebook.
I Tweet and Post and share information on lost dogs or cats; Anipals in need of rescuing and adoption; Dog and cat rescue organizations; pet food recalls; FDA updates on animal feed and medication; news on legal issues and new law and changes to law pertaining to animal abuse.
I pray everyone is well, and thank you for being my friend.
Make sure all Anipals stay inside under a “bankie”! Momma and I donated these to our local Cherokee County Animal Shelter, in Canton, Georgia, for dogs “Gotcha Day”. Please-Adopt, don’t Shop!
As my readers know, I was adopted from a shelter. I am so very, very grateful to have my own bed, and a zillion toys, and a fenced yard to run around in. My Mom & Dad say they are the lucky ones to have found me. They say their lives are happier, more meaningful, and a lot more active (they emphasize the more active part). I guess it’s the Jack Russell in me. I was pre-housetrained, too! Please don’t buy from a Puppy Mill. Please go to your local animal shelter and give a pet a new home. And, if you cannot adopt or rescue a dog, donate what you can to your local shelter, even if it is the price of a cup of coffee. Animal shelters always can use: Money, food, toys, towels, paper-towels, or even your time.
Take care, y’all.
